MAISON FABRE AND " PROJET RÉSILIENCE" JOIN TOGETHER

MAISON FABRE Glove Maker since 1924 mobilizes to produce French made masks infused with a spirit of solidarity and savoir faire.

MAISON FABRE, A FAMILY HISTORY
TRADITION OF PASSION AND EXCEPTIONNAL SAVOIR-FAIRE SINCE 1924

When Etienne Fabre turned 40 he made a choice that changed not only his life but those of his descendants : he would become a glove maker . the heritage of Maison Fabre extends much further than the mère formation of a business.

In 1909 Etienne Fabre was a 25 year old equestrian afficianado , so taken with the sport that he became a mounted officer, just to be on a horse all day .

Here at the beginning of this family history there was an epiphany that the streets filled with horses, carriages, bicycles , boats and trains, the common modes transport of the epoch ,had one thing in common , they all required the wearing of gloves.

Maison Fabre along with PROJET RESILIENCE, a national project making echoes, with the support of the Minister of Labor, that joins together with enterprises to assure the emergency production of French made masks.

The DGA (The general direction for Armament) agreed upon a prototype for the washable masks. They will be channeled to the public sector ( National Guard,Police, social workers), priority sectors (agribusiness, energy and water), and equally distributed free of charge to benevolant aide organizations such as Association Aurore, Association EMMAÜS Solidarité, Armée du Salut, Samusocial de Paris ...
